Bird's-eye View

While revamping my website, I stumbled upon this unpublished post from last year. Originally titled "Vertigo" I got dizzy shooting these photos; I now see nothing but beauty in these Nova Scotian sights. I miss the community, the people, the food, and the familiarity with every day that passes.

Under the Bridge

Recently, I was asked to join a up-and-coming creative team in Halifax. I prefer to work alone, so naturally I was doubtful about it. I met the founder and his vision was enough to make me reconsider.

Two weeks ago, a few of us got together to talk more about the direction we were going with this. I was pleased to see some familiar faces, and meet some new ones.

Last week, we all got together at my apartment. I had a little studio setup and I was tasked with shooting all our headshots. And us being all in one place like that was the first time I saw a room full of creatives synergize so naturally well - but maybe it's because we were all wearing black.

Today, the City of Halifax Instagram went live and my headshots were uploaded throughout the evening. And looking at it all, I feel proud, excited, and amped up for what will follow.

I recommend you check out and follow the City of Halifax instagram page. I have no doubt that what's to come will be an epic aggregation of Haligonian perspectives.

This is the start of something great, I can feel it.
